Woolybooger & The Ragtime Drifters is a Country Blues band that is inundated with Appalachian influence. Beyond their wildy-styled unique originals, they play an assortment of classic, “all but forgotten” songs from the Tri-State area of North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee which they hail from. Their performances will take you to breakneck speeds, just to lay you down easy, and back again, with songs that range from heartwrenching gutbucket blues, to fast silly ragtime diddys, then on to country tunes that exemplify their roots. Simply put, Woolybooger leaves no stone unturned stylistically, and his band is always ready for improvised veers into the Unknown.
